The Transfiguration

Transfiguration is the complete change of form or appearance into a more beautiful or spiritual state. I named it for this reason due to its emotional journey that was the past year with losing my mother to cancer that this painting represents in its symbology. The rose is used to represent grief, the daffodil for forgiveness, the daylily is for mother, and the sunflower represents healing.
